Laptop Program
Each high school student is required to bring an Apple MacBook to school every day.
Please see below suggestions:
Laptops should be shipped directly to your home.
Over the summer you will receive instructions for installing apps and setting up the computer for in-school use (e.g. connecting to the Heschel WiFi and printing).
All Apple computers come with limited complimentary support, however, we recommend purchasing AppleCare (must be purchased within 60 days of purchasing the Mac) | About AppleCare
Purchase a protective sleeve or a laptop-ready backpack for your child's laptop.
Purchase and install security software / antivirus: If your family has not already purchased security software for your family's devices, we recommend Bitdefender (or a similar product).
