Alvin Ailey Teaching Artists Visit Heschel High School

Teaching artists from Alvin Ailey visited Heschel High School as part of the Ron Summer Rosh Hodesh program, bringing an energizing introduction to Indigenous West African music and culture. The assembly featured interactive explorations of West African rhythms, drumming, dance, and tradition. Students were even invited on stage to learn drumming rhythms and movements firsthand!
