Eliana Solomon ‘20 Visits Heschel To Discuss Her Time in The IDF
Eliana Solomon ‘20 returned to Heschel to speak to Grade 12 about her life after graduating. Eliana graduated just as Covid was gripping the world. Before that, she always knew that she would move to Israel and participate in a Mechina program, and eventually join the IDF. Eliana spoke about the process of making aliyah during Covid, her service in the army, and what life as a member of the IDF was like post October 7. The visit was very meaningful and also gave the opportunity for the many Heschel seniors who will be following in Eliana’s footsteps to hear from her experience.
