Grade 5 Investigates Owl Pellets

Grade 5 explored owl pellets as part of their Endangered Species unit! After learning how joints move and support the body, students rolled up their sleeves and explored real animal bones by dissecting cleaned owl pellets. It was a hands-on, bone-afide way to see how skeletons work in real life!
