Heschel Celebrates New Year at Opening Ceremony

Heschel celebrated the beginning of the school year with the annual Opening Ceremonies, marking the milestones and transitions that accompany each stage of a student’s journey. Grade 12 students welcomed the Kindergarteners beneath a canopy of tallitot, and students in Grades 1, 6, and 9 made their way through arches created by their peers in Grades 10, 8, and 2, symbolizing the support and connection that unite the Heschel community. Additionally, everyone got a sneak peek at what Heschel students are excited for as they begin the 2026-27 school year!
