Heschel Welcomes a Sephardic Torah

Heschel welcomed a Sephardic Torah that will be used in the High School’s Sephardic Minyan. Students and faculty picked up the Torah and escorted it to Heschel’s campus. On arrival, the High School community held a Hachnasat Sefer Torah (Inauguration of a Torah scroll) to celebrate the welcoming of the Torah to its new home. The following day, the minyan was able to read Torah from the beautiful new addition.
