High School Hears About Rescued Sefer Torah
Heschel High School welcomed Heschel parent Andy Fruchter to the weekly Hachanah L’Shabbat program. Andy shared a special story about a rescued Sefer Torah that is now housed at Heschel. He told the High School community how the Torah was originally saved from the Kishniev pogroms and then rescued and restored nearly 100 years later.
