Sarah and Meyer Ruch

Sarah Borenstein Ruch was born on December 7, 1921 in Nowy Korczyn, Poland, not far from Krakow. In her Shoah Foundation interview, conducted in Tel Aviv, Israel,  on July 31, 1997, she talks about her life before, during and after the Holocaust.

Her husband, Meyer Ruch, was also a Holocaust survivor. He was born in Kharkov, Russia, in 1919, and emigrated to Israel in 1941. Yad Vashem conducted an interview in Hebrew about his experiences on February 5, 2013.
